Pip Bishop is a Sydney based artist and writer with a focus on culture, art and design. Pip creates beautiful textured and multi-layered oil paintings with conceptual rigour and a refined aesthetic. Pip’s curiosity leads to many new ideas and exciting creative projects.
She has exhibited in solo shows and had writing published in various places. Her designs have been used on products and packaging. Pip is influenced by French culture and this is reflected in her work, she speaks French and for a while even changed her surname to Beauvoir.
